What is Our Aim?

In the Sangha Prarthana we say our aim is "Param vaibhavam Nethum Ethath Swarashtram" - meaning "Taking our Nation to the "Parama Vaibhava" . What does this mean? In the present world what is that our country needs most? What, if acheived, we could say our Nation is in the "Parama Vaibhava" position? Drop in your views.

Parama Vaibhava State is an Abstract State. Our elders are very brilliant in this sense. They did not define what's Parama Vaibhava. May be because they expected the period to achieve this may be very long and hence the definition of that Zenith point may not be valid.

According to me, at the present juncture we can define Parama Vaibhava as: Economic Stability, Technological Stability and hindus realizing their capabilities.

    It's like CMM level 5.....
state of Continuous improvment.....but, As Karthik said, it is very abstract.
The same is explained in our Pratigna like this: "Hindu Dharma, Hindu Samskriti, Hindu Samaja - ivugalannu samrakshisi, Hindu Rashtrada sarvaangina unnatiyannu maaduvudakkaagi....
So, this is what is Parama Vaibhava. Every field has to reach zenith.....no field can be left of.
Sangh has already started thinking and doing things in this direction.....that is what is called "Grama Vikas". We have adopted thousands of villages for this and work is going on and id also monitored by elders. Also, every house needs to become "hindu mane". That's why Na.Krishnappa has taken this as his life's task and is dedicated for this.....

    Narendra,
Again and Again we are coming round to the same place where we started.
sarvaangina unnati , Parama Vaibhava sththi are all abstract. All we need is a specific aim for atleast next twenty years. We cant go on for ever with Abstract Concept. What is that we have achived in the past 80 years in our journey towards Parama Vaibhava?

I think we should stop thinking humanitarian acts like working in "Aircrash Sites", "Flood affected Sites" as Our Acheivment. It is our Strength, but not acheivment, Which I think is the main highlight of the Book "RSS A Vision in Action".

I understand that our acheivment lies in empowering masses, developing more number of less selfish people, responsible Governance, responsible people. But Is that all? What about Technological Advancement? "Economic Stability"? If Sarvangina Unnati consists of all the above, then what is Sangh doing in that regard.

Please refer this years Resolution at ABPS, and tell me how each of them are related to the "Sarvangina Unnati" and "Parama Vaibhava Sthithi".

Last One yearI have been outside India. There were some Good things about itand Some bad things about it. One of the Good things that I learnt there is that people question things there and Thats why they get what they want. So I am also trying to question things, Not only with Sangha, but In every system, where I feel I should Question.

And Let me Remind You, I am Not Questionng this with a rebellous mind. I am questioning this in order to know more.

Please De-mystify sarvaangina unnati , Parama Vaibhava for me

Yes we must question and retrospect and analyze.
ABPS takes resolutions that are related to day-today ongoings that are affecting the nation as a whole.
For example, it has taken a resolution regarding Kashmir. But, Kashmir is not the only state that we have!
And ABPS cannot touch all the aspects of our national life.
    > What is that we have achived in the past 80 years in our journey towards Parama Vaibhava?
One of the biggest achivement is the change in Hindu mindset!
Remember that Gandhi had told that "Hindu is a coward"! But, today we are hearing statements such as "Angry Hindu", "Aggressive Hindu", "Militant Hindu", etc.
This wouldn't have happened without Sangh effort.
Assume Sangh was not there and only Hindu Maha Sabha or Arya Samaj were to be there and what would have happened!?
Even bringing BJP to power in a county which is flooded with only Gandhi and Nehru is no mean achievement. But, don't ask me what they did after coming to power:-)
For Economic Stability, Sangh has started a separate organization and they have started proposing "Hindu Economics".

    > I think we should stop thinking humanitarian acts like working in "Aircrash Sites"....
Yes, we have started with "Grama Vikas" which has started giving fruits. This is definitely a step towards "Sarvangeena Unnati". Even Gandhiji's "Grama Swarajya" plan was the same, bot nobody in Congress pursued it!
So, if we try to see what are all happening around us, we can see all these and much more.
But, whatever we have achieved is very little compared to what has to be still done.
For that, we need "Some people who can give FULL TIME, more people who can give MORE TIME" and also consistency in working of our karyakartas. Those who are karyakartas should take a oath to continue to be so tomorrow also and those who are not karyakartas should be groomed to become karyakarta's soon.
If each of us can add one or two karyakarta's in a year, it will be a step towards "Sarvangeen Unnati".
